Basic Alfredo Sauce

16 oz fettuccine pasta, cooked and drained
1 stick butter
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
12 oz cream cheese
Pinch of nutmeg
¼ c. Basil Tea
Salt and pepper to taste

In a medium saucepan, combine cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter, seasoning, milk, garlic powder, basil and nutmeg and mix on low heat until fluffy and creamy, 10 to 15 minutes. Add milk, if too thick. Mix sauce with pasta. . Dienes
Add shrimp or chicken, if desired.
